The NSERC Discovery Grants program aims to promote and maintain a diversified base of high-quality research capability in the natural sciences and engineering in Canadian universities; foster research excellence; and provide a stimulating environment for research training. The Research Office for Administration, Development and Support (ROADS) invites you to attend an interactive information session, featuring:

Representatives from NSERC (a Team Leader and Program Officer for Mathematics & Statistics) who will outline the NSERC DG evaluation process
- Discovery Grant Evaluation Group members who will share their experiences with the grant review process and offer guidance to potential applicants.
- Dr. Jay Brodeur, Manager of McMaster Library's Maps, Data, GIS department, who will discuss open access and open data with a focus on support available on campus through the library.
